Ah, that was farther back than me; My heaviest period of reading was roughly 5 years ago. I tended towards longform fic, and it's still my go-to fandom when I have a hankering for that.(Especially with interesting AUs - the Zuko/Katara segment in particular has come up with some spectacular longform fics based on "what if" scenarios.)
