Gosh, just have them exist! That's half of it. Let characters be unfeminine. If you want a good example of butch characters done well, I'd suggest this fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/631342 , which actually features a bisexual butch character. I mean, you've probably seen butch people existing! Draw on that, particularly wrt body language.

It's also fine to make a butch character subby, though I agree, writing a dominant character if you don't normally do that is a good writing exercise. (IME, there is something oddly calming about being in control and knowing that your sub's reactions are because of you. As for sadism, that's not actually inherent to dominance, though obviously there's a lot of overlap; it's just being turned on when someone's obviously displaying distress or pain.)

And lol I don't really know what the solution is to the English problem of vulval vagueness. It's not just the lack of education, but the lack of sufficiently visceral slang beyond the very basic "clit" and "cunt." "G-spot" is not a very sexy word, and describing it is even worse: "moist flesh broccoli" is about as unerotic as it gets!
